Reaching the Laker Pioneer Newspaper

On January 03, 2026, the Minnetonka Minute was published in the Laker Pioneer newspaper as the week’s featured article. Author Max Kappel spent a number of hours at our Crystal Bay home, thumbing through files in the Minnetonka Minute’s archive and speaking to its author on some of what motivated him to create a platform that encapsulates Lake Minnetonka history.

Kappel’s Laker Pioneer article is as seen below & has been reposted here as a means of archiving it for future reference.
